SMCA offers preschool programs for 3 and 4 year-olds and kindergarten for 5 year-olds.

K3
The 3 year-old program is a two-day program running Tuesday and Thursday, from 8-noon. We integrate a variety of learning tools along with playtime to introduce children to the fundamental building blocks upon which they need to build their education. Students entering K3 must be 3 years old on or before September 30 of the school year for which they are applying.
K4
The 4 year-old program has two options to choose from. Families may opt to sign their child up for the three-day program (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) or the five-day program (Monday-Friday). Both programs run from 8-12noon. K4 students work through a basic A Beka curriculum and learn from daily Bible stories and songs while integrating playtime into their learning. Students entering K4 must be 4 years old on or before September 30 of the school year for which they are applying.
K5
The 5 year-old enrichment program is Monday through Friday from 8-3pm. Building off skills students have begun to acquire in K4, the K5 curriculum combines materials from Bob Jones and A Beka to solidify basic math skills such as counting, work through phonics exercises, develop writing skills including cursive and manuscript styles, and teach Bible lessons in greater depth through memory verses and Bible stories. Students applying for this program must be 5 years old on or before September 30 of the year for which they are applying and will additionally be required to take an entrance exam upon acceptance to the Academy.
