At SMCA, our preschool program provides a joyful, Christ-centered environment where young learners are nurtured, challenged, and encouraged to grow—academically, socially, and spiritually. Through play-based learning and biblical teaching, we help children build a foundation that lasts a lifetime.
Our K3 program is a three-day class that meets on Tuesdays , Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Designed specifically for young learners, this program blends purposeful play with gentle, age-appropriate instruction to help children build a strong foundation for future learning.
Children in this class explore early concepts in language, math, and social development through stories, songs, hands-on activities, and group interaction—all in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
To enroll, your child must be 3 years old by September 30 of the school year for which you are applying.
Our K4 program offers two flexible options to meet your family's needs:
• Five-Day Half Day Program: Monday through Friday — 8am to Noon
• Five-Day Full Day Program: Monday through Friday — 8am to 3pm
Students in K4 engage with a foundational ABeka curriculum, learning early literacy and math skills while growing in their understanding of God's Word through daily Bible stories and songs. Play-based activities are woven throughout the day to support social, emotional, and spiritual development.
Children must be 4 years old by September 30 of the school year for which they are applying.
Our full-day K5 program runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering a rich and engaging experience that prepares students for elementary-level learning.
Building on the foundations established in K4, this program blends materials from Bob Jones University Press and A Beka to strengthen early literacy, phonics, writing, and math skills. Students will practice both manuscript and cursive writing, explore number concepts, and engage with Bible lessons taught through stories, memory verses, and daily devotionals.
To enroll, students must be 5 years old by September 30 of the school year for which they are applying. An entrance assessment will be required upon acceptance to the Academy.
