About the Event
Our spring Parenting Symposium is on Thursday, April 8 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. It will be a great opportunity for parents to get connected to other parents in our church and school communities, be encouraged and educated by solid biblical teaching on how to raise children in Christ-centered ways, and find support for all the ups and downs of parenting.
We're so excited to have Mel Walker join us as our guest speaker at this symposium. Mel is a published author and speaker on discipling the next generation to follow Jesus Christ as well as a church consultant and coach. He has spent his life serving local churches and young Christians as a youth pastor, in administrative roles in Christian colleges, as the director of student ministries at Regular Baptist Press, and the co-founder of Vision for Youth. He is a regular speaker to thousands of children, teens, parents, and pastors at churches, camps, seminars, and conferences each year, and we are thrilled to have him joining us on April 8.
The symposium will begin with an opportunity for parents to meet or reconnect with other parents in our school and church communities, followed by a lecture from Mel, before closing with a question-and-answer time.
Parents can register to attend this event in-person or live online by going to smcanh.org. Please contact Pastor Dan Beaulieu at dan.beaulieu@mvbc.org with any questions!
