Field Trips
While South Merrimack Christian Academy focuses on rigorous academics, enhancing the creativity of our students is an important part of the learning process. Our program offers dedicated field trips at each grade level as well as unity building retreats for our secondary students. Grade level field trips focus on educational as well as community service opportunities. Field trips include adventures to incredible locations throughout New Hampshire and the Boston, MA areas.
Grade 8 trip
8th grade students travel each year to Pennsylvania for three days, where they experience wonderful productions such as the Sight & Sound Theater.
Our 12th grade students participate in their senior trip each year to places such as North Carolina and Virginia Beach.

In addition, students in elementary and secondary divisions participate in local competitions, sponsored by the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) and Bob Jones University.
In the Classroom
Our teachers are mindful of the different learning styles and abilities of each student and utilize their knowledge of child development and excellent instructional methods to ensure that successful learning takes place in the classroom. Through devoted instruction to character and spiritual development, students are challenged to develop Godly leadership qualities, compassionate hearts, inquisitive minds, and a deep knowledge of scripture and daily application.
Academics
Centered on a proven core academic curriculum of science, history, math, English, and Bible, the SMCA educational program also includes technology, music, art, foreign language, and athletics. Experienced, well-qualified teachers and small class sizes combine to make SMCA an excellent place for students to grow.
