About the Event
What is your parenting philosophy? With all the different schedules, agendas, and expectations on you, it can be hard to be still long enough to consider such a large question, but we want to help you consider what your philosophy of parenting should be and what your responsibilities as a parent before God are.
On Thursday, November 5, our Parenting Symposium will offer our community training and connection. Our goal is to equip parents to faithfully raise their children in Christ-centered ways by understanding what the Bible says your responsibilities as a parent are and what your priorities should be.
We are excited to address this important topic with the help of our guest speaker, Dr. Mark McGinniss. Dr. McGinniss has twenty-seven years of full-time ministry experience as a youth pastor, lead pastor, and Christian school principal and is the professor of Old Testament Literature, Language, and Exegesis at Baptist Bible Seminary. He is a published author and seasoned guest speaker at marriage and family seminars.
At this symposium, you will have the opportunity to learn about a biblical philosophy of parenting, ask our guest speaker questions, and get connected in discussion groups with other parents in our church and school communities.
You can register for this Parenting Symposium online now by going to smcanh.org. Digital streaming of the event will also be available. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Pastor Dan Beaulieu at dan.beaulieu@mvbc.org.
